Security
Rarely a day goes by when there isn’t another incidence of loss of sensitive data by an organisation or government department. There is increasing focus on data sensitivity just as there is increasing traffic in data between organisations.
UK-engage have developed processes which exceed industry standards in the security of sensitive data, and any third-party suppliers used in the management of voting processes match the same stringent standards.
Any electronic voting process we manage is encrypted to the highest level ensuring the integrity of information and preventing unauthorised access or multiple applications.
Even paper-based data on returned ballot forms is held separately in specialist premises with restricted access and full security.
UK-engage fully subscribe to and comply with the Data Protection Act.
Results and Reporting
It could be argued that when it comes to results of any ballot, speed is of the essence. This is partially true, but accuracy is paramount and must not be compromised by the desire to announce an outcome.
UK-engage deploy several technologies in order to both count, verify and report on results depending on the type of ballot undertaken.
It could be electronic counting, data capture, resolution of spoilt papers or referral to scrutineers for decision, UK-engage will deliver results quickly and accurately, as well as making a full suite of report data available for post election analysis.
Scrutineering
A fundamental part of the engagement process is assuring your stakeholders that any ballot or consultation is undertaken fairly, impartially and with due scrutiny.
UK-engage have accredited Scrutineers that will audit and verify that any electoral process is conducted to the most rigorous standards.
Experience tells us that the best way to encourage participation is to reassure that any consultation is properly conducted, and that results are properly audited. UK-engage can provide that reassurance.
