Postal Ballots

Whilst it might be assumed that everyone has contact with the internet or with mobile phones, it may come as a surprise that the majority of remote voting in is still undertaken by postal ballots.*

At UK-engage, with our experience of postal voting packs, we are ideally placed and experienced in the design, production and management of user-friendly postal ballots that will maximise response and involvement.

We have a range of standard format ballot packs that can be branded and tailored to suit particular needs, all of which have been proven in the field to solicit above-average returns. The same applies to proxy nominations.

In fact, as part of Print Image Network, we were awarded the accolade of Winner in the category of Innovation and Creativity in Postal Voting at the Excellence in Public Procurement Awards 2008.

But the provision of award-winning postal ballot packs is only one link in the chain. UK-engage will securely manage and sort your membership data, produce and mail your postal ballots in Mailsort or Walksort order (minimising your postage costs) and then independently receive, verify and count responses, providing you with a fully audited results report that you can confidently present to your stakeholders.

These can then be combined with the results from other response channels which may be managed internally, or through the services of UK-engage, to ensure complete integrity in the voting process.

e-voting, telephone and SMS

Of course in recent times, more and more people want convenience and ease-of-use when responding to voting processes. Rarely does any ballot involve purely electronic responses, but as part of an overall response mechanism, it is important that options are available for those who embrace e-democracy.

Everyone’s needs are different, so UK-engage partner closely with the UK’s foremost providers of electronic response systems to make sure that with the intelligent use of emerging technology, we are capable to deliver a fully integrated suite of solutions encompassing internet voting, SMS, email and touchtone telephone, backed up by electronic data capture and ballot counting.

Combined with the expertise over many years of involvement with election support, UK-engage therefore has the capability to manage multi-channel, variable option voting procedures across a wide spectrum of business and organisational needs.
